COOLTEK was designed to use air-conditioning continuously and is therefore a sealed building, preventing loss of the cooled air-conditioned air to the outside. It is a small, simple building with minimal decoration and unencumbered by elaborate pillars or many floor levels, thus ensuring its energy efficient design.

These aspects are best used on a new building, but some can be retrofitted to an existing building.
